Worship Set

Things have still been kickin' at LP lately and are really busy. Not only are our Sunday morning services blowing up but our college ministry is on fire as well. It's awesome to see students take the reins on the ministry and be so passionate for reaching other students. Yesterday was another great Sunday at LP. Here are the worship sets:

Flag Football Anyone?

You might remember I played in an intense flag football league last year with David McCaman, and we won the Super Bowl of course. Well the next season is starting in a few weeks, and we are looking for more people to be in the league this year. It's $65 to join. Seems a little much, but it's pretty good, competitive games- 9 week season and playoffs. There are a good amount of LifePoint guys in the league. If you are interested in joining, submit a comment with your email (I won't publish the comment) and I will forward you the enrollment form.

"Why do guys text girls all the time and then when we're at school can't seem to hold a face to face conversation?"

This is one of the questions I will be answering tonight in front of the LP middle school and high school girls. I am on a panel with Rodney Wilson and Michael Holland. We will be answering tons of questions that our female students have been submitting for the past few weeks about guys. The question I put as the title is one of the lighter questions. There are some very meaty questions about guys, relationships, boundaries, marriage, regrets in the past, and much more. It should be a very interesting discussion. Pray for Rodney, Michael, and me tonight as try to answer these questions as best as we can. Trust me. We really need it on some of these questions.

LifePointers, You are awesome

On Sunday we had 1,000 less people on Sunday than we've been averaging this year due to a lot people being snowed in. Our church members are so awesome though and still gave over $16k over the weekly budget need. It's so awesome to know that in the midst of the worst financial crisis most of us have ever seen, LP's are being faithful in their giving and trusting God to carry us through this time. Keep it up church!

Yesterday at LifePoint Church was really good. It was good to see so many people come out even though we had massive snow storms Saturday night. Ha! The Ebensbergers led worship in the Auditorium and I led worship in the HUB. Here are the sets:

The HUB

We've been doing Worship in the Hub for 3 weeks now, and it's going so well. I can already feel a sense of community growing in there. You should come try it out this Sunday during the 10:45 hour in the Hub. I'll be leading worship in there this week.
